After more than fifty years in practice, representing plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts, Mr. Platt now has an active practice serving as an arbitrator.

In litigation and counseling, he has represented hourly workers, managers, executives, attorneys, professors, doctors, people on welfare, people in prison, non-profit organizations and small and medium-sized businesses. He brings his experience trying bench and jury trials and arguing appeals in commercial, employment, consumer, civil rights, real estate and estates matters to his arbitration practice.

Mr. Platt has arbitrated hundreds of cases for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). He has had arbitration training by FINRA and AAA, and mediation training by the Center for Dispute Settlement in Washington, DC. For thirty years he counseled University of Pennsylvania faculty who administered internal procedures for faculty dispute resolution.
